Our Mission

The mission of the 1st Confederate Brigade is to form a group to foster and promote reenacting in the Central Midwest States.  

Group History

The 1st. Confederate Brigade initially met in January of 2006 at Dollinger farm.  As many local reenacting units as could be found were invited. The first meeting was mainly a discussion to decide whether or not to even form a group.  The 2nd meeting in February, the group actually decided to form, held elections and formed a committee to work on the bylaws.
