1^st Confederate Brigade 2007 Campaign Schedule

Members of the 1^st Confederate Brigade;

At the Brigade Board meeting held on February 24, 2007 the Board discussed and voted on the Campaign [event] schedule for 2007. Voting was held with a quorum of the voting membership and in accordance with the Brigade By-laws.

Based on the voting, the event schedule for 2007 is as follows and are considered max efforts for all members of all units:

May 5-6                  Brigade Drill [ exact location is yet to be determined, it is currently either the Dollinger Farm or it might be held at an event  at Wright College in the Chicago area that weekend where facilities, food and other amenities will be available. Members will be able to set upon on Friday night at either location. More info will follow]

May 18-20              Naperville, Illinois

July 6-8                 Wauconda, Illinois [The Board encourages all members and units to participate in the Saturday morning tactical in addition to the remainder of the event]

Sept. 14-16            Lake Villa, Illinois

Oct. 12-14             Princeton, Illinois      

Oct 19-21              Dollinger Farm, Minooka, Illinois

The Board also discussed other events which were found popular with the unit membership individual campaign [event] schedules. The Board decided to restrict the maximum effort events to those listed above but wanted to list other popular events where a number of the members units are participating incase other units wish to participate.

 July 20-22            Glenview, Illinois

 August 3-5            Boscobel, Wisc.

 Oct. 5-7               Stockton, Illinois

 The Board discussed the event at Lockport, Illinois and pending addition information on event rules, being obtained by Colonel Bierman, it was decided to hold off on debate  of this event till this information is available.
